Dominator 72 Pro hoop seen square on, its 72 by 42 inch backboard a sheet of perforated aluminum rather than glass, with the orange breakaway rim centred on it.

Curbside delivery. The freight carrier calls you to book a delivery time, usually on a weekday between 8 and 5, and someone needs to be there to sign. Check everything before you sign, especially the backboard, and write any damage on the delivery receipt.

Add professional installation We set the anchor, pour the footing and assemble it, quoted after a free on‑site look. We install in Palm Beach and Martin counties only — anywhere else, we ship you the equipment.

Why this one

The Pro is the 72 with an aluminum board in place of the glass. Same regulation width, same four foot overhang, same 8 by 8 pole. What changes is the backboard: 3/8 inch perforated aluminum, so there is no pane to break and wind passes through it rather than loading the frame. That makes it the hoop for courts that take hard public use, and for anywhere a broken board would be somebody's afternoon. The trade is feel. Aluminum plays a little deader off the board than glass does.

Nothing to shatter A 3/8 inch perforated aluminum board. There is no glass pane, so there is no way to break one.
Perforated for wind The holes let wind through the board instead of loading the pole.
4 ft overhang The pole sits well back from the play, clear of anyone under the basket.
